TITLE: ELIGIBILITY FOR NATIONAL DIRECT STUDENT LOANS

Students may apply for the National Direct Student Loan through the College Scholarship Service Financial Aid Form. Due to the limited amount of National Direct Student Loan monies available, students qualifying for loans will be recommended for Guaranteed Student Loans rather than National Direct Student Loans. Students meeting the residency and banking requirements for the Guaranteed Student Loan will not be given a National Direct Student Loan unless need is such that both the Guaranteed Student Loan and the NDSL are required to allow the student to remain in school.

Needy students who are not eligible for the Guaranteed Student Loan Program for reasons other than residency will be considered for National Direct Student Loans.
