TITLE: AWARD NOTIFICATION

An award letter or denial letter will be mailed to all applicants who complete the College Scholarship Financial Aid Form and have completed the application process. The award letter will consist of the student's total budget, total resources, and an itemized award offer. The award will be dated and a signature line to signify acceptance of the award by the student will be included. The award letter will also include a description of the aid offered and a statement of the terms and conditions of the award.

Acceptance. Students have two weeks from the date of the award letter to accept or reject the award. If they have not responded within the two-week time period, students will be sent a reminder letter giving them one additional week from the date of the reminder letter. If the student has not accepted the award by the deadline, the student's file will be placed in an inactive status and the student's award will be officially cancelled. If the student, at a later date, wishes to reactivate the file and revise the award or to again become an active applicant, they will receive consideration only for the funds available at the time of their latest inquiry.
