ADMINISTRATIVE RULE NO: C304
RELATED TO POLICY SERIES NO: 7140
TITLE: REGISTRATION
Registration begins on the date posted in the Catalog and Schedule of Classes and continues through the second week of classes for full-term classes with the exception of open entry classes. Registration deadlines for less than full-term classes can be found in the Deadlines to Register/Add Courses table in the Schedule of Classes. After the first week of classes, the Registrar's Office requires the instructor's signature before a new registration or adds for classes can be processed. The instructor's signature indicates that it is still early enough in the term to accept new students into the course.
All waiting lists are on the computer. Students may be transferred by Registration into a full-term class from its waitlist through the end of the week prior to the first week of the term. Instructors are responsible for moving students from the waitlist for cross-listed classes and classes with separate lecture and lab sections. Beginning the first day of classes and through the end of the second week, students may be moved from the waitlist to registered status for a full-term class with an instructor's signature. Students in less than full-term classes may be transferred until the day the class is scheduled to begin or with an instructor signature if the course has started but the add deadline has not passed.
