TITLE: STUDENT RECORDS
Two types of records are kept for students: (1) the accumulative folder containing background data including application and transcripts from other schools, and (2) the student's permanent record showing work completed at LBCC. A computerized student record will be established and updated from the admissions application, financial aid application, registration form, instructor grade sheet and student information change form. The faculty and staff have access to these records on a need-to-know basis and can make a request for information from the Registrar. Policies governing access to records and maintenance of records are contained in the document "Student Rights, Freedoms, Responsibilities and Due Process."
