TITLE:
BOARD POLICY DEVELOPMENT AND REVISION
An established procedure will be
followed in developing and revising college policy that
will:
A. Provide
the Board with the opportunity to carry out their legal responsibilities to
make and/or approve all college policy statements
B. Provide
the Board with pertinent information and implications relating to a policy
proposal or revision
C. Whenever
possible and appropriate, assure interested persons and/or groups affected by
the proposal an opportunity to express their views prior to Board adoption of a
policy statement.
D. Implement
the policy as rapidly as possible

processes and procedures to implement this policy, when in the judgment of the
Board, conditions warrant such action.
