Project Committees
Once the Capital Planning Task Force has identified a project for completion, a project committee will be appointed. In most cases, the project committee will be chaired by a manager with administrative responsibility for the programs or services associated with the project. Committee membership will include faculty, staff, advisory committee members, managers and others with special interest or expertise in the project. Project committees will be responsible for making detailed proposals to the Capital Planning Task Force for the projects within their jurisdiction and will operate under some general principles to be developed. Each committee will also have access to the services of the facilities/construction consultant. Committees will need to work within the time lines and planning parameters provided by the Capital Planning Task Force. Project Committee Chairs will attend meetings of the Capital Planning Task Force when their project is on the agenda.
