Ground Rules & Operating Principles:
- Be on time for meetings
- Open communication within meetings and with the rest of the college
- Accept responsibility for your actions; complete commitments
- Maintain accountability with each other
- Meetings will be limited to the scheduled time
- One person speaks at a time to allow for good listening
- We will make decisions based on consensus; if a consensus cannot be reached, then a vote will be taken based on a simple majority.
- Notes will be taken for each meeting and distributed within a week of the meeting
Communication Plan:
The work of this committee will be communicated openly to the rest of the campus. The ways that we will do this are:
- Using a website, email, and hard copy materials for distribution of information.
- Set-up a mechanism for soliciting ideas and interaction with others on campus.
- Recruit a variety of people to be a part of the communication chain.
